This Special Issue comprises a selection of original research and evaluations relating to mathematics education innovations, including research-to-practice progressions. The Reprint begins with a comparison of technological innovation in mathematics across international education systems, continuing with an exploration of the use of technology for instruction and assessment innovation. To conclude, several instructional innovations for classroom practice and teacher professional development are proposed.
